Tom Sachs commentary on designer brands is so simply put that it would seem to almost intensify people's attraction to theses different popularities. I found these object to be comical because I know how expensive Tiffany's and Hermes products can be, and likewise the money that is spent by the consumer can be linked back to war or violence. "Hello Kitty Crying" is an unlikely occurrence for the popular Sanrio character that is often shown in color in happy poses. The interesting part is Hello Kitty has no mouth so there is no way to judge the underlying emotion of her normally.
