21. Dan Flavin





I first saw Dan Flavin's work at the Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Art (first photo); I enjoyed the experience of entering an empty space only occupied by unnatural neon lighting. His other work plays with the concept of lighting and space just as well, integrating his work in to spaces decoratively. Flavin utilizes the range of color offered by lights to create spectacular lightworks.
